Hi, I’m Valentina Vergottini, founder of Italicus Interiors. Raised in Milan, I grew up immersed in art, architecture, and a natural sense of timeless design.

I studied Interior Design at the European University of Design in Milan, where I developed a strong foundation in both contemporary and classical interiors.

Today, I create spaces that feel warm, intentional, and effortlessly refined, blending Italian sophistication with practical design.

Alongside Italicus Interiors, I lead the interior design department for a well-known local contractor, allowing me to guide projects from concept through construction.

About Me

Hi, I’m Valentina Vergottini, founder of Italicus Interiors. Growing up in Milan, surrounded by art, design, and timeless beauty, I learned early on how spaces can tell a story. I studied at the European University of Design in Milan, where I honed my skills and developed a deep appreciation for both contemporary and classical interiors.

Today, I create spaces that feel personal, welcoming, and effortlessly elegant, blending Italian sophistication with thoughtful details. Alongside Italicus Interiors, I also lead the interior design department for a well-known local contractor, giving me hands-on experience to bring projects from concept to reality. Whether it’s a full renovation or a few hours of design guidance, I focus on crafting spaces that are warm, refined, and uniquely yours.

RECENT WORK

A sophisticated bathroom renovation where details make the difference. Black 3D tiles with elegant gold inserts create a striking backsplash that rises vertically, adding depth and drama. The custom vanity features a sculpted countertop that follows the cabinet’s lines and continues into the backsplash, resulting in a refined, elegant final look.

What started as a blank wall was transformed into a modern, elegant focal point. We designed sleek built-in shelves with clean lines and added warmth and texture with a chevron Shiplap centerpiece around the fireplace. This project celebrates the beauty of natural stone. The shower walls are full of warm, expressive veining in rich brown-beige tones, creating a striking visual impact. A coordinating niche with penny tiles in the same palette adds subtle texture while keeping the focus on the luxurious finish.

Maison Blue Laundry

What appears as a charming cabinetry and wallpaper moment is the result of a complete renovation. From re-tiling to reworking plumbing and electrical layouts, every detail was carefully planned to create this French retro–inspired laundry room. Bright tones, floral blue wallpaper, rust-colored cabinetry, and classic hardware bring warmth and personality to a highly functional space.
